With our modern block bandsaws, we produce flat steel and wide flat steel up to 250 mm thick and 6000 mm long – with minimal tolerance deviations. We process the material “cold” to prevent edge hardening. The benefit? There’s no need for subsequent heat treatment, which can be expensive – and processing time is significantly shorter too.

Commonly processed grades of steel include: 42CrMo4, 16MnCr5, C45, C60, S355J2+N and factory-quenched and tempered 42CrMo4 +QT.

We can also cut other materials from our range to your specified dimensions. Just let us know your requirements.

NEED PRE-CUT PARTS IN FIXED DIMENSIONS?

With our automated bandsaws (KASTOwin A 8.6), we produce steels in the fixed dimensions you need – both in small batches and large-scale series production.

If you require further heat treatments, then services such as stress relief heat treatment, quenching and tempering, and straightening are implemented quickly in cooperation with our capable and reliable partners.
