Packaging is an essential element of steel production – and it’s particularly important for those smaller, everyday orders that require individual sheets to be protected for transport across the country or even across Europe. The sensitive surfaces of hot-rolled wide strip steel and cold-rolled sheets in particular require special protection.
We can also supply heat-treated woods in accordance with the IPPC standard for export packaging. These woods are marked with the relevant stamp in compliance with ISPM 15 regulations (“HT” for Heat Treatment) and certified in accompanying documentation.
Special sea or air freight packaging completes our range. This packaging is produced by local service providers at the customer’s request and the goods are packed on site at our warehouse in Neuss so that we can conduct final checks before shipping.
