Alloyed heat-resistant sheets DIN EN

acc. to DIN EN 10028-2, AD 2000 W1, PED (2014/68/EU), quarto plates with certification to DIN EN 10204-3.2 TÜV, hot-rolled wide strip steel with certification to DIN EN 10204-3.1

Alloyed, heat-resistant sheets in grades 16Mo3, 13CrMo4 and 10CrMo9 are characterised by their outstanding strength at high temperatures. Depending on the variety, these steels can be used at temperatures of up to 600°C. The most suitable material will depend on the application, the place of use and the mechanical load to which the material will be exposed. The appendix to EN 10028-2 provides guidance to help users select the appropriate material. The criteria for this decision are the reference values for the time elongation limit for 1% plastic elongation and the rupture strength.

Generally, unalloyed steels and steels alloyed with molybdenum (Mo) and chromium (Cr) are used at temperatures of up to 450°C.

The acceptance test reports provide information on the chemical analysis, delivery condition, tension test, thermal tension test and notched-bar impact-bending test.

Application areas Alloyed heat-resistant sheets DIN EN:
Power plant construction, container and apparatus construction, pressurised pipelines, flue gas desulphurisation plants, pressurised container construction, heat exchangers, boiler construction, converters, oil & gas
